Creating and developing a successful establishment, a restau- rant or a club is a matter of many factors. The interior is one of the most important of those. It builds the place's identity, defines the guests' experiences and has potential to turn the establishment into an urban legend.
At SYNONYM DESIGN Architecture Studio we know how to achieve this – popular brands such as Djanam Steak House, GOTHAM Club, Club THEATRO, Buddha Shisha, Habibi Shisha and others already trusted us. You know them? To a large extent this is due to our work under architect Georgi Tsenov.
How do we do this? At SYNONYM DESIGN we develop every project to the tiniest detail, blending architecture, design, art and technology. When our ideas are bolder than reality, we ourselves design and make the furnishing, the lightning and the decora- tions. As a result we end with a characteristic, individual interior with innovative concepts and trusted solutions that matches the client's budget.
Here are some of our latest projects with which we changed the game.
Gotham Club, one of Sofia's most famed night spots, is at a new address, and with a new interior. In it, we put the accent on author's comic heroes we created exclusively for Gotham Club, achieving an inimitable, attractive atmosphere fitting for this special place.
THEATRO Club in Sofia is in a specifically designed space – perfectly proportioned, high, no freestanding col- umns, excellent acoustics. We helped to optimise the impact of the live performances in it with amphitheatre seating and professional sound system and light and visual effects. We chose green translucent technical stone as the space's the main accent and made all interior elements exclusively for the club.
GRAND VOYAGE Piano Bar at Thracian Cliffs Golf luxury resort was a true challenge. The client wanted noth- ing else but a Steam Punk-style interior. We materialised the idea with decoration of sculptures, elements and ornaments we designed and made particularly for the site.
